This is the largest and oldest established vineyard in Wales and is still run by the Norris family who established it in 1982. It’s a relaxed place, with plenty of charm. You can stroll through the gardens, admire the ponds and enjoy finding out all about the place on one of their tours which include a country platter to finish.
There is no restaurant or shop, so it’s less commercial than most vineyards but you can still pick up some bottles to enjoy at home. Tours start at 12.30 daily and last approximately two hours. You’ll beginning by sampling Welsh vintage sparkling wine before walking through the vineyard, meeting the Llamas, enjoying a bite to eat and trying two of Glyndwr Vineyard’s award-winning wines.
