When you visit a great city such as London, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to fine dining. They are so many incredible restaurants that serve the most wonderful of dishes. Every taste is catered for.
Some of the London’s restaurants are truly unique. Restauranteurs tell their stories in not just the food but by the interiors they choose. Restaurants with expansive floral walls bring natural inside and statement ceilings worthy of the Tate Modern, can leave a lasting impression. Many of these restaurants have long waiting lists so book well in advance of your trip to England’s capital city.
Inside Sky Garden, London’s highest public garden are several restaurants and bars. Fenchurch Terrace is situated adjacent to Fenchurch Restaurant and offers unrivalled views of London.
The terrace is on level 37 but you can also enjoy wandering around the rest of the Sky Garden during your visit. The planting is fantastic, but it’ll be the views from the incredible windows that will take your breath away.
A visit to Coppa Club to dine in one of their rooftop glass igloos is a must. They seat up to eight people for two hours. You can admire the views of the Shard and Tower Bridge but it’ll be the igloos themselves that will capture the attention of your Instagram followers.
In the winter months, each igloo is a cosy haven with faux fur throws and a hygge vibe, but in the summer, they’re paradise pods. You’ll walk along bamboo pathways to your pod which is adorned with gorgeous lanterns and palm trees... it’s bliss. The outdoor bar and summer sharing plates are delightful.
One of the best places to eat in Soho is Temakinho, a fantastic Japanese/Brazilian restaurant. The food is outstanding, and the kitsch décor will be a big hit with your Instagram followers.
The main floor has palm print walls, a tiled bar and wicker chairs… and is the perfect backdrop to a lunchtime date. We love the hanging monkey decorations and pineapple accessories. The food is so Insta worthy, it’s totally unique and beautiful.
There’s no reason why you have to stay on dry land. Bateaux offers a host of different cruises along the Thames. If you want to enjoy an extra-special Afternoon Tea, book a table on the Harmony with its open deck and floor-to-ceiling windows. Not only will you be able to admire the London Eye, the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral and House of Parliament from the water, but you can also enjoy fantastic live entertainment as you eat your sandwiches and treats.
For an unforgettable evening meal, book a Signature dinner cruise. You’ll set sail as the sun sets and London lights up. You’ll receive a glass of champagne on arrival, an exquisite five-course set menu which has been freshly cooked onboard, amazing wines and an after-dinner liqueur. You’ll be able to step outside to admire London landmarks under the stars before dancing the night away.
