Conceived by Jim Hamilton, St James Bar reflects the history of our storied building and its original 1923 incarnation as the Cox & Company bank. Look up and you’ll see a huge ceiling painting of a cockerel in military dress, a touch of the avant-garde that’s both French and British in the quirkiest way.
