The foundation of Freehouse Bar and Sofitel Mexico City Reforma

In 1938, architect Rafael Goyeneche completed construction on a Louis XIV-style home for Emilio Suberbie on Paseo de la Reforma N° 297. More than 75 years later, Accor bought the property and erected a tower that rises from its center. To honor the home’s history, Sofitel carved out spaces for an elegant cocktail bar that welcomes locals and guests with its timeless ambiance and warm service.
