Art & Design Philadelphia, United States
This is the realm of children, from the youngest to the age of 7. Since 1976 the Please Touch Museum, at the heart of Philadelphia’s West Fairmount Park, has been offering the under-7s interactive, intelligent and entertaining things to discover – steer a boat, play cricket with the queen in Alice in Wonderland, and listen to stories. Several permanent exhibitions are on offer: animals, space, transport, etc. The museum also has a theatre for early learning about art and music, dance and comedy. Finally, you will find a replica of the Statue of Liberty there and a roundabout built in 1908, the Woodside Park Carousel.
