Discover Fruit Kiss, the latest limited-edition chapter of La Haute Croissanterie,  an ode to summer, where the vibrant energy of seasonal fruit meets the artistry of perfectly crafted croissants.

Imagined by 7 Sofitel Pastry Chefs around the world, each creation is inspired by the fruity flavours, culture, and spirit of their destination. Guided by Sofitel’s signature French Zest, this exclusive collection celebrates the rhythm of the seasons through bold flavours, refined textures, and exceptional craftsmanship.

At Sofitel Marrakech Palais Impérial & Spa, our guests  are invited to discover 6 vibrant creations, inspired by some of summer’s most irresistible fruits:

Chef Ibtissam Elbanaoui

Since 2008, Chef Ibtissam Elbanaoui has been the creative force behind the sweet universe of Sofitel Marrakech Palais Impérial & Spa. With passion, boldness, and a deep respect for Moroccan terroir, she reinvents French viennoiserie with a refined, inspired touch.

Her remarkable expertise has earned her the role of ambassador for La Haute Croissanterie across Southern Europe. Chef Ibtissam continues to push boundaries, infusing every creation with the spirit and flavors of her homeland.

La Haute Croissanterie Blossoms - Zesty Orange Blossom

Orange blossom water in Marrakech is more than a scent, it’s an invisible imprint, a warm memory suspended in the air of the Medina. It permeates the city’s culture: in the refreshing water served to guests, the fragrant mint tea, and the golden pastries kissed by the Moroccan sun.

Inspired by this essence, Chef Ibtissam created a croissant that captures the very soul of Marrakech, flaky and delicate, infused with orange blossom water and sprinkled with candied orange zest. One bite evokes the bustling alleys, the soft laughter behind the mashrabiya screens, and the dawn call to prayer.

This collection is a poetic homage to Morocco’s sensory heritage, a journey, an emotion, and an invitation to dream.
