A French-Inspired Family Escape
From a little breakfast creativity to afternoons by the water, the hotel will welcome younger guests with family-friendly spaces, pop-ups and activations throughout the holiday period. With experiences taking place on selected Saturdays and Sundays, there will be fresh ways to play, explore and enjoy time together between Sydney adventures.
A little French creativity at breakfast
On selected mornings, breakfast at Atelier by Sofitel will take a playful turn with exclusive croissant-decorating workshops hosted by the hotel’s expert pâtisserie chef. Young imaginations can take the lead in a hands-on experience that invites children to add their own creative finishing touches to a French breakfast favourite. Designed to be shared as part of a relaxed family morning, the workshops bring a taste of Sofitel’s pastry craft to the breakfast table.

Spring afternoons by the pool
As the weather warms, the hotel’s poolside setting will come to life on selected weekends with music and DJ sets, children’s entertainment and a vibrant menu for younger guests. Le Rivage will bring a relaxed holiday mood to afternoons overlooking Darling Harbour, with family-friendly food and refreshments available to order.

For families making a stay of it, the Family Offer, Inspired by Le Petit Prince brings extra room to relax, with a half-price adjoining room for children, breakfast and late checkout. From 25 September to 11 October, younger guests can enjoy complimentary colouring and activity packs, with kids’ favourites available on our Free-to-Air TV channels.
From 4–11 October, families can also enjoy our complimentary indoor games room, featuring table tennis and a pool table — perfect for relaxed playtime between Sydney adventures.
