The property has chosen to completely eliminate single-use plastics across all of its operations, actively contributing to the preservation of both marine and terrestrial ecosystems.
This commitment is complemented by a structured waste sorting and management program, as well as ongoing initiatives in water and energy conservation, in line with international standards for sustainable hospitality.
CATERING
At Sofitel Tamuda Bay Beach & Spa, responsible gastronomy is at the heart of our identity. Our key commitments:
- Food waste reduced by 26% in 2025 compared to the previous year
- 25% vegetarian options on our menus, for adults and children
- Cage-free eggs from certified supply chains
- Local partnerships, notably with the Jben Khayrat Chamal cooperative
- In-house olive oil, from harvest to cold pressing within the hotel
COMMUNITY
Our local roots are expressed in every detail of the experience we offer our guests.
We celebrate the artisanal craftsmanship of the region through authentic creations: hand-blown glasses crafted by local pottery artisans and traditional mendils woven by women's associations from Tétouan.
Through these choices, we honor the cultural heritage of northern Morocco while supporting the economic empowerment of local communities, and in particular of women artisans.
