The Best of Sydney this June

What's On This June

June in Sydney invites a slower, more considered pace, a season to settle in, seek warmth and immerse yourself in the cultural richness that makes this city truly remarkable. As the city leans into the quiet beauty of winter, world-class events illuminate the evenings. Vivid Sydney transforms the harbour into a living canvas, while galleries, theatres and intimate venues offer moments of genuine connection.

Vivid Sydney

Each winter, Vivid Sydney transforms the city into something truly extraordinary. From 22 May to 13 June 2026, Sydney comes alive with an awe-inspiring program of light, music, ideas, and food that has made it the world's largest festival of its kind.

The centrepiece is the Vivid Light Walk, an unbroken 6.5-kilometre journey along the Sydney Harbour foreshore, where immersive installations, 3D projections, and interactive artworks by acclaimed local and international artists reimagine the city after dark. This year's program reaches new heights with the debut of Vivid Minds, bringing together a remarkable constellation of global visionaries, including filmmaker Chloé Zhao, culinary icon Yotam Ottolenghi, and music tastemaker Zane Lowe.
