We’re delighted to welcome your furry friend to Sofitel Philadelphia! As a Very Important Pet (V.I.P.), your pet is a special guest. To ensure a comfortable stay for all, please review our V.I.P. Guidelines below:
1. Leash & Carrier: For the safety and comfort of all guests, pets must remain on a leash or in a carrier while in public areas of the hotel.
2. Restricted Areas: To maintain a pleasant dining experience for all guests, pets are not allowed in our restaurants, bars, or fitness centers.
3. Room Accessibility: For your pet’s comfort and our team’s safety, pets must be accompanied by their owner whenever hotel staff (Housekeeping, Engineering, etc.) enters the room.
4. Housekeeping Service: To ensure a seamless cleaning service, we kindly ask owners to schedule housekeeping at a time when their pet is out of the room.
5. Pet Supervision: Pets should never be left unattended in the room to ensure their safety and the comfort of all guests. "If you need to step out without your pet, please provide a cell phone number just in case your furry friend gets a little too chatty and disturbs other guests. This way, we can reach you promptly if needed. Thank you for your cooperation!"
6. Peace & Quiet: Please help us keep the hotel a relaxing retreat by ensuring that your pet does not create excessive noise or disturbances.
7. Clean-Up: As a responsible pet parent, please clean up after your furry friend. Simply secure waste in a plastic bag, twist it closed, and dispose of it in a designated trash bin. Thank you for keeping our space fresh and clean!
8. Responsibility for Damages: We know accidents happen! Owners are responsible for any damage their pet may cause, including extra cleaning or repairs. Any necessary charges may be added to your bill and processed on the card on file.
9. Pet Amenities: Our pet amenities are available on a first-come, first-served basis to make your pet’s stay extra special!
10. Pet Bed Policy: If a cozy dog bed is provided, it’s for your pet to enjoy during their stay. Please leave it behind upon check-out— any unreturned beds may incur a replacement fee.
11. Respecting Everyone’s Stay: If a pet’s behavior becomes disruptive and leads to complaints, we may ask the owner to make alternative arrangements for their pet. We appreciate your understanding!
12. Pet Limit & Weight: We’re happy to welcome your furry friends! You can bring up to two pets per room, with a combined weight limit of 60 pounds
Pet Fee: A non-refundable fee of $75 per stay applies to guests traveling with pets. This fee helps cover additional cleaning and amenities provided for your pet’s comfort.
Pet Liability Agreement: The pet owner accepts responsibility for any personal injury or property damage their pet may cause, including incidents involving other guests, hotel associates, or service providers. In such cases, the owner agrees to cover any related claims and to support Sofitel Philadelphia, its team, and affiliated entities in resolving any matters that may arise.
