You'll have no trouble finding a street vendor where you can buy yourself one of Laos's specialties: the kalapao, a stuffed brioche, which can be sweet or savory. A tasty treat to enjoy as you watch the silent procession of monks who walk along the city's main street: Sisavang Vong. Heading out to Mount Phousi, you'll discover a nocturnal tranquility as you walk up the 330 steps to the top. Once you get there, the majestic rays of the languid sunset over Luang Prabang will be captured forever in the eyes of its visitors.
