Known as the Latin Saint-Tropez, Punta Del Este is a tourist area abundant with activities, hotel complexes as well as hidden beaches. Come and enjoy a restful beach slumber.
These capital villages are separated by a whole different world: Montevideo. Unmissable on both a cultural and human level, this Baroque city, boasting multiple European influences, can be discovered via the intimate stalls or the frenzy of the marketplace.
Starting from Plaza Independencia, upon the discovery of the city, to Cabildo, the oldest building in the city, passing by Mausoleo de Artigas, statue of the national hero, Montevideo is sure to win over Latin culture enthusiasts. It is also possible to head to the old quarter and see a tango performance. A must – watch a football match and move to the sounds of supporters singing in the El Centenario stadium.
