As part of this collaboration, guests can expect more than just a show. From a theatrical lift installation to inspired dining moments, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth brings the spirit of Pretty Woman to life across the hotel, blending cinematic flair with French sophistication.
Step Into the Wentworth Express Lift
From 5 November to 5 December, guests are invited to experience the Pretty Woman Wentworth Express Lift, a playful homage to one of film’s most iconic romantic moments.
The immersive installation transforms the hotel’s elevator into a scene of cinematic charm, complete with:
- A velvet chaise lounge that ads a touch of indulgence and cinematic charm
- A dedicated bell boy evoking old-world service and sophistication of luxury hotels
- Vivian’s unforgettable line, “Well, colour me happy, there’s a sofa in here for two”” elegantly decaled onto the lift mirrors, creating a glamorous selfie moment for guests to live out their own Pretty Woman scene

Then it’s into the Oh-La-La-La Lift, where guests make their way to Wentworth Bar, the rooftop terrace where the glamour of Hollywood meets the buzz of Sydney’s theatre scene.
- Sip on the indulgent Strawberry Yuzu Spritz ($20) or share among up to four friends ($99), a nod to the scene where Edward first offers Vivian strawberries and bubbles.
- Or go back down to bar tilda, a cocktail bar blending old-world character with a modern edge, for the Strawberry Vodka Gimlet, a sparkling twist on a classic with HM Vodka, strawberry, finger lime and lavender bitters ($23).
