This year, celebrate Australia’s most prestigious portrait award with curated experiences in the heart of Sydney.

As the city celebrates the Archibald Prize, join us for an equally creative experience with our reimagined High Tea — a culinary tribute to artistry, seasonality, and natural beauty.

This year, our presentation steps away from the traditional tiered tower and instead blooms across the table, inspired by the Royal Botanic Garden and the soft purples of jacaranda, this year theme.

Savouries are presented table side, evoking the elegance of legendary hotel service, with curated cheeses, smoked salmon, charcuterie, and quiches carved to your plate.

Only valid on weekends from 10 May, 2025, 1 pm to 3 pm in the Velvet Lounge.

AccorPlus members receive 10% discount per membership off the high tea general public price. Please note that further discounts are not applicable with this booking. Archibald High Tea inspired during Archibald season only. Available Saturdays and Sundays from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Velvet Lounge at Level 5. Subject to availability, $69 for the Archibald High Tea experience only or $89 for the Archibald High Tea experience with a glass of Pommery Champagne. Archibald Escape booking period now until 17 August, 2025. Stay period during the Archibald Season only. Accommodation must be fully prepaid at the time of booking and is non-refundable. No cancellations or changes are permitted. Offer available all days of the week. Limited to one welcome drink per person during the stay. The number of packages sold is limited per night and is available until sold out. Transport from the hotel to the Art Gallery of NSW is not included.
